Mississippi Crush U-12

This is a picture of Kaylie slap hitting.

This weekend Kaylie's team played in a tournament in Canton, MS. They ended up third out of nine teams. That was only their second tournament to ever play in together. They have been practicing together for about two months or so. They are learning a lot and are getting better each game. I also want to say congratulations to the U-10 team who won first overall in their division.

Happy Birthday Jaxson!!

Jaxson got a great new powerwheel.

Sawyer took this picture. He did a good job.

He opened the gifts very well!

He was so cute in his new hat.

Saturday afternoon we went to Jaxson's birthday party. He will be two on the 30th of this month. His party was at a pumpkin patch. The kids were treated to a hayride, pumpkin, and cake.

Honey Bunny!

Isn't she the cutest thing you have ever seen?

Friday night Kelly and I took the kids to get their Halloween costumes. It took a while to find one for Kaylie but we finally got it done. My mother came over Saturday morning and she just had to see Larsen in her costume. So here is a preview of Larsen in her costume.

I'm ready for my close up!

When I said, "Say cheese," even the raccoon gave me a nice look. He was ready for his close up.

Kelly has been putting out a live trap over the past few nights. He has caught a couple of raccoons and has let them go. He just wants the kids to see the wild animals up close I guess. Saturday morning before Sawyer's soccer game we had to take a look at another raccoon.

I need to powder my nose.

After David and Regina soke at FBC we all went to my grandmother's house. While we were sitting and visiting we realized that Larsen was not in the kitchen or the livingroom. We found her in my gramndmother's room with the powder. She had it all over her and all over the floor.

David and Regina at FBC

Regina and Larsen. Larsen walked around the church during the presentation. She wanted to be upfront with David. She hugged his leg one time while he was talking. It was really cute. My mother attended the presentation as well.

Kaylie dressed in the native attire and trying to walk with a basket on her head as the ladies of Guatemala do.

Kaylie, Regina, and Sawyer. Sawyer is wearing the bag that the men of Guatemala use.

The skirts that the women of Guatemala wear are made from 8 yards of material. They are shorted and cinched at the weight to fit the women. Otherwise, they use all 8 yards of material.
David showed the kids the money of Guatemala.

My GA class.

I am behind on my blogging. I am going to try and catch up tonight. David and Regina came to FBC Wednesday night and spoke to the RAs and GAs. Regina dressed as the village Guatemalan ladies do and David spoke about the children of Guatemala. They showed some slides and a DVD. It was very interesting. I think that everyone enjoyed the presentation very much.

Kaylie and friends

Hannah, Lindsey, Victoria, Kelli, Kaylie, and Sawyer
Saturday after Sawyer's soccer game I took my mother to do a little shopping in Jackson and to get Larsen some new shoes. I come home late that evening to find that four of Kaylie's friends would be spending the night with us. I took some pictures of them Sunday morning before church.

I can wear your heels!

Larsen is only one but she already loves shoes. Kaylie is constantly in my closet trying on my shoes and now Larsen has started to join her.

Football game

Larsen says," the Colonels are number 1!"

Last Friday night I joined David and Regina at the highschool football game. The Colonels won 18-15!

More color, please!

After getting in from the fair last Wednesday night Kelly called me to the bathroom to "look at my daughter." She was up to her favorite activity: coloring herself. This time her utensil of choice was lipstick. I don't know why she likes to color herself but she does.

The Mississippi State Fair

David and Larsen playing peek-a-boo
Larsen getting a little tired
The last ride of the night was the water ride.
Sawyer and Regina on the Mega Loop

Becky, Libby and Larsen
The merry-go-round was Larsen's first ride. She didn't want to get off.
Larsen loved driving the car.

Everyone in our house has been sick at one time or another over the past week and a half. All three children have been to the doctor at least once. However, we all managed to make it to the state fair this evening. My mother, David, Regina, and my kids and I all went together. Kelly was not able to go tonight. Kelly, Kaylie, and Kameron (one of Kaylie's friends) went Monday night while Sawyer, Regina, and I were sick. My Aunt Libby was there when we arrrived. She was there with her sister-in-law. We took a picture together but she did not stay with us. She had been there during the afternoon and was ready to go.
