If there is land, it is farmed. It was amazing to see how the hillsides were farmed to the very edge of a cliff.
This is a large valley of farm land. Machinery is not used to keep the rows looking so nice. You would be amazed at what those people can do with a machete.
This is one of the city streets. Most of the men carry some kind of bag. Motorcycles are very popular in Guatemala. Motorcycles have the right of way in Guatemala at all times. The law is that only one person on the bike has to have on a helmet. We saw women and children without helmets but usually the driver has on a helmet. Motorcycles are not expensive like they are here. There are transportation in Guatemala rather than recreation. There is competitive pricing.
