It's Party Time!

Over the past six months since Kaylie turned 12 I have done numerous posts stating how Kaylie is growing up. Well, she has only six more months until she officially becomes a teenager. She already thinks that she is an adult. We are going to have our handsfull with her the older she gets. She is a great kid but is trying to assert her independence. Last night three of her friends celebrated their birthdays together by hosting a huge cance party. All the kids in their classes were invited. The girls were so dressed up and all of them were beautiful. The boys were equally handsome. Get ready for a stream of photos from the party. We took a few photos at home before we left for the party. I helped Kaylie with her hair. I have got get a better handle on how to do hair. I have never been good at anykind "up-do." I think that Kaylie did turn out very pretty even though I didn't really know what I was doing.
Her dress is really pretty isn't it? She is wearing my shoes. I told you that she is really growing up. We can now share shoes.
Does she look older than 12?

This is Alexis. She was the birthday girl. Her mother is the one responsible for Mardi Gras theme. The decorations were great. I think the theme was a hit with the kids.
Kaylie's boyfriend gave her a corsage and a ring last night before the party started. I'm going to have get a close up of the ring. It is really pretty.
